Donna Brooks, LSW, MSW
I earned a Master of Social Work from Loyola University. I now practice clinical social work as a counselor at Aspire as well as share music therapy in a hospice setting.
Prior to entering the field of clinical social work, I was an elementary grades and early childhood teacher for over thirty years. My work and passion for the past seventeen years has been early childhood (birth through age six), where I have worked with strengthening physical, social, and emotional capacities in the growing child in a Waldorf classroom setting that included therapeutic storytelling, imaginative games and play. I have led parent education groups on issues of parenting, creating a healthy family rhythm, and the spiritual work involved in meeting the needs of the young child and parent.
I love travel, walks in nature, creating and performing music, and time with my family.
